Donna D. Fraiche is the Founder and Manager of Fraiche Strategies, LLC and Founder
and Secretary of the Board of AiWithCare, Inc. an AI healthcare company accelerating
research and enrollment in clinical trials and transforming health care. She serves on
the board of two publicly traded companies with governance and leadership
responsibility including chair of compensation committee, lead independent director and
on the audit committees. She also serves on the board of a privately owned chemical
company and several non-profit entities. Ms. Fraiche is the Honorary Consul of Japan at
New Orleans for Louisiana.
In her retired legal career, she was a partner and leader in several major US law firms
and led the health care and public policy groups, chaired a Nominating and Governance
Committee and Women’s Initiative Committee.
A Past-Chair of the Board of Woman’s Hospital, she served as the first woman
president of the American Health Law Association (“AHLA”) and was chosen for the first
class of Fellows. Ms. Fraiche served on the American Hospital Association’s Committee
on Governance. Ms. Fraiche was named New Orleans Health Care Lawyer of the Year
by Best Lawyers in America. She is the former Chair of the Louisiana Health Care
Commission where she served in that position for over two decades and was appointed
to Louisiana Legislature’s Task Force on the Working Uninsured and the Louisiana
Recovery Authority after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Ms. Fraiche was selected for inclusion in Chambers as an outstanding Health Care
attorney and as a Louisiana Super Lawyer as well as a top lawyer in Government
Relations and Health Care by New Orleans . In 2000, she presented at the ABA Health
law Section Meeting in London. She served on The Joint Commission’s Leadership
Accountabilities Task Force and presented at the National Conference on Quality and
Safety in Health Care. Nightingale’s Healthcare News named her as one of ten
Outstanding Hospital Lawyers in the United States and as an Outstanding Physician
Fraud and Compliance Lawyer.
Ms. Fraiche was Chair of the Board of Trustees of Loyola University in New Orleans and
delivered the commencement address at the Law School. She served as President of
the World Trade Center, Founder and Chair of the Board of the New Orleans Regional
Medical Center and was on the adjunct faculty of Tulane University’s School of Public
Health and Administration as a preceptor for the residency program in health systems
management.
She served as President of the Louisiana Supreme Court Historical Society, President
of the Louisiana Bar Foundation, President of Louisiana Appleseed and President and
Chair of the Board of the Louisiana chapter of the International Women’s Forum. She is
on the Boards of St. Andrew’s Village, Investment Committee of Baton Rouge Area
Foundation, National Coalition for the Prevention of Human Trafficking and Global
Geospatial Institute.
