Sonia Singh is a digital health strategist and executive advisor with over two decades of experience helping healthcare organizations navigate transformation, innovation, and growth. She partners with leaders at health systems, payers, and digital solution companies to navigate complex technology and strategic decisions, and has shaped the strategies of more than 80 leading organizations — ranging from $2B to $10B+ in revenue — as they plan for digital transformation, rethink business models, redesign the consumer experience, and deploy emerging technologies at scale.
Sonia is a leading voice in the industry on digital transformation. She was most recently Chief Insights Officer at AVIA Health Innovation, where she led the development of research, insights, and actionable frameworks that have guided board-level conversations and enterprise investments. This work spans many of the most consequential topics in digital health, including healthcare consumerism, hyper-personalization, autonomous operations, digital oncology, phygital strategies, digital-first primary care, AI-enabled specialty care, acute care transformation, digital partnership strategies, amongst others. Her work also covered systematic reviews of market landscapes, assessment of high impact digital capabilities, selection of vendor solutions, development of go to market strategies, and product design work.
She has also led the conceptualization, launch, and scale of collaborative innovation programs that bring together health systems and ecosystem partners — technology companies, investors, and entrepreneurs — to co-create sustainable solutions around shared strategic priorities. She is known for translating complex industry challenges into pragmatic, scalable solutions and for partnering closely with C-suite executives and boards to structure, launch, and execute transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes.
Prior to AVIA, Sonia was a leader in PwC's healthcare strategy practice. She co-led the firm's Virtual Health offering and helped shape its "Healthcare New Entrants" practice at the intersection of consumerism, technology, and healthcare. Her experience in management consulting also extends to consumer engagement, enterprise technology strategy, and M&A.
A recognized voice in digital health, Sonia has been a featured speaker and content contributor at 50+ industry events, including conferences, executive roundtables, and podcasts, and her perspectives have been featured in Authority Magazine and across healthcare industry media. She is the author of Radical Reinvention — Future-Proofing Your Health System, among other widely-cited industry pieces.
Sonia holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pune University, India, and a Master's in Information Management from Syracuse University. She is currently part of Harvard Medical School's Global Health Leaders executive program, class of 2026. She serves on the board of the Merit School of Music in Chicago and is a founding member of Chief Chicago. She is based in Chicago and works with organizations across the United States.
