MICHAEL JANNIERE

Senior Workforce and Legal Advisor

Michael Janniere is a Senior Advisor with Pivot Health Advisors, where he leads strategic client engagements focused on telehealth, digital transformation, and human capital strategy for healthcare organizations.


With more than 25 years of experience, Michael has helped clients across healthcare, technology, financial services, manufacturing, nonprofit, and energy sectors unlock profitable growth through innovative human capital, organizational, and M&A strategies. He brings deep expertise in aligning workforce strategy with digital and operational transformation—enabling organizations to achieve sustainable growth, operational agility, and workforce readiness in an evolving digital health landscape.


His advisory experience spans telehealth program development, organizational design, governance, executive compensation, and M&A integration. 


Michael has worked with clients and boards ranging from large publicly traded companies to emerging growth firms, helping leaders navigate complex issues in workforce planning, governance, and transformation during times of significant change.


Before joining Pivot, Michael served as Director of Benefits at Sharp HealthCare, a leading California health system, where he advanced workforce programs that supported the rapid expansion of digital and telehealth initiatives. Earlier, as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), he led the organization’s people strategy and directed the business development of its international healthcare accreditation and consulting subsidiaries—contributing to the global advancement of ambulatory and virtual care standards.


Throughout his career, Michael has also advised clients on all aspects of rewards, recognition, and employee benefits—both in the U.S. and globally—including executive compensation design, incentive and retirement plans, and the tax and governance implications of workforce strategies. His ability to integrate human capital, technology, and operational priorities enables organizations to thrive in an increasingly digital healthcare environment.


Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Andrews University, a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
