David Fletcher, MBA, has worked 25 years in healthcare. He most recently served as Associate Vice
President of Telehealth at Geisinger overseeing all facets of telehealth and the eICU program with 128
employees supporting Geisinger’s 10 hospital campuses and more than 50 community clinics
throughout central and northeast Pennsylvania.
Mr. Fletcher was responsible for managing all clinical, technical, business and regulatory activities around telehealth, while also developing and implementing new telehealth programs.
During his time in this role, the program saw growth in telemedicine usage of over 200 times previous volumes and secured $4.4 million in grant funding to purchase equipment and expand the program. In July 2020, the program was recognized as the #1 National Telehealth Network at the Teladoc National Telehealth Innovation Forum. His experience also includes thirteen years helping lead telemedicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he helped generate more than $100 million in external funding for the program.
Mr. Fletcher holds a BS degree in Economics and Finance from Arkansas Tech University and an MBA
from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is actively involved in industry leadership, currently
serving as the Vice President of the Society for Education and the Advancement of Research in
Connected Health (SEARCH) and on the Innovations Board of the Center for Telehealth and e-Health Law
(CTeL). He currently consults with clients on AI/ML healthcare applications, digital health, program
evaluation, and business process improvement.
