Tony brings a straight forward and personal style to his clients, based on his 30 years in strategy, marketing, innovation and product commercialization across several industries (Consumer Products, Finance and Health Care).
Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of the American Hospital Association and President/CEO of two subsidiary companies; AHA Solutions and AHA SmartMarket.
A motorcycle enthusiast and marginal golfer, Tony also has a passion for helping kids. In 2009, he created and continues to lead the ProActive Kids Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that delivers a no-cost program for children struggling with unhealthy weight.
Bruce Brandes has over 25 years of experience in executive management and entrepreneurial thought leadership to build growth stage technology-based businesses in the healthcare industry.
Bruce made meaningful contributions to the early market acceptance of electronic medical records in the 1990s with IBM and Eclipsys (sold to Allscripts). As Chief Strategy Officer with Sequoia Capital-backed AirStrip, he helped pioneer the introduction and widespread adoption of mobility in healthcare around the introduction of the iPhone, and later supported the industry’s transition to value-based care as EVP of Growth & Innovation at Valence Health (sold to Evolent). Bruce most recently was founder & CEO Lucro, delivering a digital platform and marketplace that re-invents the purchasing process between healthcare buyers and sellers (sold to Valify).
A career-long member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Bruce also currently serves on the Board of Advisors at several innovative companies and mentors future leaders as Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.
Nicki has an extensive events, marketing, and customer service background. She is responsible for both remote and onsite management for all Pivot events including roundtables, conferences, tradeshows, focus groups, strategy sessions, and board retreats.
She is also responsible expanding and building relationships with our clients through various marketing initiatives. She works within our business development group, developing partnership / sponsorship platforms for vendors looking to penetrate the health care market .
For ten years, Nicki worked at the American Hospital Association, coordinating tradeshows and high-end meetings/roundtable events for hospital C-suite titles, in addition to her marketing role within AHA Solutions, Inc., a for-profit development and marketing subsidiary.
Nicki also serves as Director for ProActive Kids Foundation. ProActive Kids is an evidence-based healthy weight program designed for kids ages 8-14 who are overweight or obese. The program offers a safe environment where kids workout and learn about proper nutrition. The program also features a mental health-coaching component that focuses on self-esteem, body image, stress, bullying, feelings, communication, coping, and more.
